What to expect from Genetic Evaluation and Counseling

This is a link to an article on what you can expect when referred to a Genetic Counselor within the limits outlined in the following disclaimer from the article. The material is somewhat dated (1997), and reflects the need for "educating" and "raising awareness" among genetic counseling professional groups that hopefully, our efforts in developing and publishing more materials (including the book in prepartion) will have some impact on through presentations at their professional meetings and in their publications.
