Volunteers Make a Difference

The Trisomy 18 Foundation is committed to Building a Community of Hope through Support, Advocacy, and Research. While this is a very large task, it is very achievable with your help. There are many types of roles that you, as a volunteer, can fill. Many of these will enable you to develop new skills that will enhance your career and give you the opportunity to try new things, all while working toward our shared goal of making the future for families faced with Trisomy 18 an easier one. Read more about the benefits of volunteering with the Trisomy 18 Foundation in Why Volunteer?

We can use your help in all types of ways, from writing to bookkeeping, web design to mailings, moderating on our online community to Webmaster, both continuing roles to one-time tasks. For a more in-depth look at what is available, see Volunteer Roles Available.

It’s very easy to apply to be a volunteer. We have an online survey, and then you are given training materials to complete at your own pace. Once you are trained, you will start being assigned to tasks. Find out more about How to volunteer.

Join one of our Volunteer Orientation Calls to find out more! Our volunteer calls are currently on summer hiatus, but please indicate your interest in learning about volunteer opportunities by fillling out the volunteer survey. Check back in the fall for dates and times of more conference calls.
