When my daughter was diagnosed I had nowhere to turn, was lost and lonely. I discovered your site and shed many tears but got so much solace and support from others that it helped the inevitable become bearable somewhat.
A wonderful circle of families, resource for professionals and way to commemorate the lives of those lost.
Thank you so much for the Birth Plans. The Trisomy 18 Birth Plans are wonderful! Each one is a testament to a parents unconditional love for their child.
The Trisomy 18 Foundation was my life line. The staff there helped me through the darkest days of my life from the time our daughter was diagnosed with T18 until she died and even after. If anyone you know is pregnant with or has a T18 baby, tell them about the Foundation.
The Foundation gave me all the information I could hope for and I thank you for that. My little man was born at 32 weeks and only lived minutes, but thanks to the Foundation, I knew how to make those minutes count.
The Foundation helped me reach out to other families that had gone through the same thing. Talking with other community members helped me to not feel crazy or alone and also to heal.
The Foundation is a wonderful organization to turn to make sense of a senseless situation. Even though our daughter passed away last year I still turn to the Foundation’s resources and staff.
We looked to the Foundation for help and to learn from other parents who had been through what we were going through. The Foundation has been a great comfort.
When I was led to the Foundation’s website, I lost it. All of the feelings, all of the emotions, everything that I have held inside for 12 painstaking years–all of it is now out. There ARE resources out there to help me.
The Trisomy 18 Foundation will forever be special to our family. It was the most comprehensive, real, compassionate source for us and our extended family. Thank you!
